sKorthi Bay is located on the South
East side of the island. Just outside Chora the
Municipality starts at the village of Sineti. Along your way you
will pass the villages of Vouni, Kochilou, Episkopio, Gianiseo-Lardia,
Chones and Rogo before your arrive to Korthi Bay. Korthi Bay (Ormos)
is located in the center of the Municipality. As you travel south from
Korthi Bay you will find the villages of Aidonia, Mosionas, Amonakliou,
Piso Meria, Aipatia, just before arriving at the village of Kapparia.
Each village is unique in its own way. You
have a choice of several beautiful beaches for swimming, sailing, wind
surfing, fishing and a variety of water sports. There is an abundance of shops, restaurants and variety of night life throughout the Municipality.
- Dipotamata - In the valley-
ravine of Dipotamata, running down from Yainniseo to Sineti bay.
This area has been officially declared an ecological site by the
European Community. As you
walk down the path you will discover 22 Watermills.
Castle - North of the Village of
Kochilou - Paleokastro (Apano-Kastro or Upper-Castle).

Moni Panagia Tromarchion,
Moni Zoodochou-Pigis Filetra. At
the village of Ano Korthi you will find the Byzantine
Church of Saint Nicolas. Most of
the Villages in Korthi have many small Churches.
- at the Square of Ormos
Korthiou & School & Church of Agia Triada- Ano
Korthi -(located at the bus stop.) The school of Agia Triada was founded in 1821 by
Samuel Plassimis before the Greek revolution. There you will find a museum
filled with bibliography and very old Icons.
